Nicht immer ist das Wetter schuld...

Auch wenn man dem Wetter im April nachsagt, dass es macht, was es will, ist dies nun nicht der Grund, warum wir leider und mit Herzschmerz beide Events dieses Wochenendes absagen müssen. Wir wollten Euch zeigen 'How To Throw A Stone', doch jemand war schneller: Hat Steine vor unserem Konzept Store in der Kollwitzstraße abgeladen, einen rot-weißen Zaun darum gebaut und uns damit die Event-Venue genommen. Wir wünschen Euch trotzdem einen wunderschönen Tanz in den Mai und dass Euch niemand Steine in den Weg legt. Das Konzert von Mary Ocher werden wir schnellstmöglich nachholen.

It says that the weather in April has its own mind, however we can't blame it this time. We do regret having to cancel both of the events planned for this weekend. Indeed, it was us who wanted to show you 'How To Throw A Stone', but someone was quicker, unloaded stones in front of our concept store, build a white and red fense around them, and occupied our event venue with it. It's been a sad surprise, however we shall wish you a wonderful dance into the May and do hope that noone will put a "stone" in your way. The Mary Ocher show will be rescheduled to the next possible date.

Stilvoll rebellisch in den 1. Mai

Das kommende Event-Wochenende im ACHTEINHALB Konzept Store sollte sich niemand entgehen lassen: Am Samstag Nachmittag, 30. April, ab 16:00 Uhr beginnen wir im Rahmen unserer Dorit Bialer Ausstellung stilvoll rebellisch mit einer Walpurgissage und zeigen Euch "How To Throw A Stone". Natürlich wird niemand zu Schaden kommen, allerdings könntet Ihr eine Menge Spaß bei uns haben. Bringt gern Eure Kinder mit.

Für Sonntag, den 1. Mai, ist es uns gelungen, die wunderbare Mary Ocher für zwei Live Sets vor unserem Store zu gewinnen. Mary wird ihr aktuelles Album "War Songs" bei uns vorstellen. Die Sets sind für jeweils 14:00 und 16:00 Uhr geplant. Mehr über Mary Ocher findet Ihr im aktuellen SPEX. Unsere lieben Nachbarn, die Meierei, sorgen für Euer leibliches Wohl. The upcoming event weekend at ACHTEINHALB Konzept Store shouldn't be missed. In the course of our Dorit Bialer exhibition, we will show you "How To Throw Stone" in a rebelliously stylish way, and surely with lots of fun only: Walpurgissage - This Friday afternoon, 30 April, from 4 p.m. Bring your kids along if you like.
On Sunday afternoon, 1 May, the wonderful Mary Ocher will be playing at our store. Mary will present her latest album "War Songs" to you. Sets are planned for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The current SPEX magazine also picked up on Mary and wrote extremely nicely about her. Our lovely neighbours of the Meierei will be offering a barbeque and refreshments. We are looking forward to a sunny and funny weekend with you.

Es musste lange gezittert werden, ob das OE Magazin tatsächlich jemals das Licht der Welt erblicken würde. Diese Woche ist es endlich soweit: Zahlreiche Unterstützer, unter anderem ACHTEINHALB, haben den Launch des neuen Magazins mit ermöglicht. Wir freuen uns auf spannende Details über die Entwicklung der Mode, besonders in Berlin, die aufgrund direkter Zusammenarbeit mit deren Machern und Gesichtern ganz besonders realistisch dagestellt wird. It's been a long winding road until OE magazine was ready for the light of day. Finally, it's launch time this week: Several supporters, amongst others ACHTEINHALB, have been backing the release. We are looking forward to exciting details of the latest development in fashion, especially in Berlin. There will be true insights as OE is widely connected within the scene. iHeartBerlin & ACHTEINHALB present Couture Eggs

Zusammen mit iHeartBerlin haben wir zwölf Avantgarde Designer gebeten Ostereier zu gestalten: Anne Wegelin, Burkhardt/Möllmann, C.Neeon, Esther Perbandt, JULIAANDBEN, Parsival Cserer, Paula Immich, Phoebe Heess, Proportion, Reality Studio, Von Bardonitz. Dabei sind wahre Kunstwerke entstanden, Couture Eggs eben. Diese können vom 18.-22. April auf iHeartBerlin online ersteigert werden. Der Erlös der Couture Eggs Auktion wird an Charity Projekte für Kinder und für Notleidende in Japan gespendet. Alle Couture Eggs werden von iHeartBerlin und ACHTEINHALB bei einer Vernissage am Donnerstag, 21. April, ab 19 Uhr im ACHTEINHALB Concept Store, Kollwitzstraße 42, präsentiert. In a beautiful cooperation iHeartBerlin and ACHTEINHALB have asked twelve avant-garde designer to create their very special Easter egg. The designers involved are: Anne Wegelin, Burkhardt/Möllmann, C.Neeon, Esther Perbandt, JULIAANDBEN, Parsival Cserer, Paula Immich, Phoebe Heess, Proportion, Reality Studio, Von Bardonitz. Each of these Easter eggs became a true piece of art, Couture Eggs, as we call them. iHeartBerlin is running an online auction from 18-22 April, of which all benefits will be donated to Children's charity projects, as well as Japan relief organisations. All Couture Eggs will be presented to you at a vernissage at ACHTEINHALB Concept Store this Thursday, 21 April, from 7 p.m. Come along a celebrate with us again. Please RSVP here.

Party time is here again

Am Freitag, den 1. April war es endlich soweit: Im ACHTEINHALB Konzept Store in der Kollwitzstraße eröffnete die Dorit Bialer Ausstellung. Zur Vernissage kamen zahlreiche Freunde und Kunden, um mit uns und in Anwesenheit der Künstlerin zu feiern. Die Ausstellung läuft noch bis zum 14. Mai.

Finally, this Friday, 1 April we opened the Dorit Bialer exhibition at our ACHTEINHALB concept store. The vernissage was attented by many friends and customers, who celebrated with us and the artist. The exhibition will be instore until 14 May.
